The Boat That Rocked centres on a pirate radio station in the middle of the sea that gives the people of the UK Rock and Roll twenty-four hours a day. The result ends up to seem almost like a sitcom as they are only in one place the whole way through. The main radio DJs get into scraps with each other while the government (manly an angry Kenneth Branagh) try to outlaw radio piracy.

The film is immensely funny and features some of the best music ever, such as The Kinks and The Who. It contains a lot of my favourite British actors including two stars from the comedy TV show The IT Crowed. If your not into 60s music, you probably won't enjoy it. But that's just a small group of the world really.

****Good
